No. Legal Lift is a document service that provides professional, up-to-date UK legal document templates. We're not a law firm, which keeps our prices low and our library broad. When you need advice tailored to your circumstances, we give you access to independent SRA-regulated solicitors.

Are the documents legally valid in the UK?

Yes. Our templates are drafted to comply with the law of England and Wales and are kept current with 2026 legislation, including the Renters' Rights Act 2025 and Employment Rights Act 2025. As with any legal document, correct completion matters, and for complex situations we recommend a solicitor review.

How much does Legal Lift cost?

Our Personal plan is £19.99 per month billed annually (£24.99 monthly), and our Business plan is £39.99 per month billed annually. All plans include the full document library, the AI generator and LegalSign e-signature. You can cancel anytime.

Can I sign documents electronically?

Yes. Every plan includes LegalSign, our built-in e-signature feature. You can sign documents yourself or send them to others for signature, with a clear audit trail. Electronic signatures are legally recognised for most agreements in the UK.

What types of documents can I create?

How does the AI document generator work?

You answer a few plain-English questions about your situation, and the generator tailors the chosen template to your needs. You can then edit it, download it as PDF or Word, and sign it with LegalSign.

Can I get a document reviewed by a solicitor?

Yes. Through our network of independent SRA-regulated solicitors, you can request a document review or a consultation for tailored advice. This is available as an additional service.

Can I cancel my membership?

Yes, you can cancel at any time from your account dashboard. You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period.

Do you store my documents securely?

Your documents are saved in your account dashboard so you can access and download them whenever you need. We take data security seriously and process personal data in line with UK GDPR.

Who is Legal Lift for?

Both individuals and businesses. Individuals use Legal Lift for wills, tenancy agreements, family arrangements and more. Businesses use it for employment contracts, commercial agreements, company documents and debt recovery.
